With this app you can monitor the best-before dates of the food in your stocks.
The data is stored locally on the smartphone and will not be synchronized with other smartphones.
The app is my private hobby project, which is developed in my free time.
It is intended for private individuals and not for companies.
How it works:
First, an item is recorded (once) in the Item List with its information and, if necessary, an image.
You can then add the item in the Inventory, select the expiry date and enter the quantity.
If the expiry date approaches or the date is exceeded, a warning appears in the app.
The number of days per item can be defined for the expiry date warning.
If the EAN code is entered (or scanned) for the item, you can directly edit the stock or the item details using Scan item.
The item data can be loaded from OpenFoodFacts.org using the EAN code.
Test database:
To test or get to know the app, you can switch to a test database.
This already contains some articles (is not an advertisement for the products).
Report bugs:
This app is constantly being developed and may still contain errors.
If you notice an error, please describe it in detail (how can it be recreated), create screenshots if possible and send them to the email address listed below.
Known issues and bugs:
1.
The sorting of the articles does not take German umlauts into account.
The SQLite database used does not support this sorting.
2.
A pop-up notification does not take place.
To check whether the best before date has been exceeded, the app must be started.
